Don Hart has 40 years of experience in economic development and structured public finance. He has served as a Project Finance Manager, Underwriter, Financial Advisor and Managing Director for several firms prior to joining Stern Brothers including Bank of America Capital Markets, National City Investments and Fifth Third Securities Inc.

Earlier in his career Don built a practice in Tax Leasing Products, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Finance, Commercial and Industrial Bank funding strategies. During the course of his career Don has structured and arranged over $4 billion of Project, Public and Private Finance in over 20 States.

Since 1990 Don has focused the majority of his Capital Markets experience representing Port Authorities and other Economic Development Agencies across the country to provide the most creative, cost effective and comprehensive financial strategies and solutions for his Public and Private Sector clients. Typical Projects include Infrastructure and Parking facilities, Corporate Headquarters’, Manufacturing, Distribution, Special Use Facilities, Renewable Energy, Mixed Use Lifestyle Centers, Medical Facilities, 501(c)3 funding, and General Business Expansions. Mr. Hart graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio with a BSBA degree in Political Science and Economics and is a member of the Council of Development Finance Agencies. He is also active in his community working with organizations including St. John’s, St. Jude, USO and YMCA.
