Jerome Menifee is Managing Director, Head of Corporate Banking & Capital Markets. He is responsible for originating capital markets transactions, advisory engagements and brokerage services such as cash management and securities repurchase mandates. His clients include Fortune 500 companies from the financial, pharmaceutical, technology, media, telecommunications, energy & utility, and consumer/retail sectors. He has extensive experience advising on the underwriting and distribution of public debt, equity and hybrid securities.
Mr. Menifee has 30 years of seasoned business development skills enhancing the firm’s overall client coverage and taxable debt strategy initiative. Mr. Menifee began his career as a commercial banker with senior business development roles at JP Morgan Chase (Chemical Bank), Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and The Boston Company. Prior to Stern Brothers, Mr. Menifee held Principal and Managing Director positions at National and Boutique firms both as an officer and independent advisor. He has also represented a select group of traditional asset managers and hedge funds marketing investment products and services.
Jerome has served as a Board of Education member and City Council Committee leader in Township of Orange, NJ. He also chaired and served on several United Way affiliated Boards (PPNYC, The Jericho Project, more). Jerome served as a Founding Director and Officer of the Morehouse College Alumni Associations of Manhattan and served as Treasurer of the Boston Alumni Chapter. Additionally, Jerome has Chaired the Municipal Alliance Committee of Chathams (NJ) for local schools.
Jerome holds a B.A. in Accounting from Morehouse College, Cum Laude and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University, Citibank Fellow. He holds FINRA licenses 3, 7, 24, 63, & 65.
