Tom joined Stern Brothers after 15 years in investment banking at two regional broker-dealers. Mr. Gibson specializes in multi-family housing finance working with a wide range of clients including issuers, REITS, institutional clients, tax credit developers and non-profit borrowers. Mr. Gibson has financed properties using over $1.5 billion of tax-exempt bonds over the last 7 years. Structures employed by Mr. Gibson include credit enhanced structures (Fannie, Freddie, MBIA, FHA, Ambac and a host of bank letters-of-credit), non-enhanced but rated structures (primarily pooled financings rated through subordination), and non-enhanced and non-rated bond structures.

Mr. Gibson graduated from Marquette University in 1988 and received an MBA, with highest honors, from Loyola University of Chicago in 1991.
